Just a few of our happy customers!
From California to Florida, Texas to Indiana, we have happy customers across the US and the globe. We love our customers' feedback. If you own a Glacier Pool Cooler, we want to hear from you!
All southern US pool installers/builders should include a Glacier Pool Cooler. Our volleyball/play pool would get in the mid/upper 90s during the peak of North Texas summers. So I started looking into ways to cool the pool. Evaporation seemed natural, but I hadn't seen any solutions. There are heat/pumps, but they use a LOT of electricity. I stumbled onto the Glacier Pool Cooler and ordered the largest consumer model since we have a Tahoe blue pebble tech floor. I was shocked by its size when it was delivered in my driveway. It looked like a jet engine from a small jet. I installed the chiller myself with no problems. I had to relocate and replumb my waterfall pump to fit the cooler in my fenced equipment area. But the overall process was relatively simple and easy. And oh what a difference! It is amazingly refreshing to dive into my 85 degree on a 100 degree day. Several times when we had a couple of rainy days I've had to turn off the chiller to keep my pool from dropping into the 70s. The best part of the cooler is its low energy usage. For just running a fan while the pumps on anyway, we get the cooling for negligible power. So, I don't know why all Southern pool installers don't at least offer this option, if not installing them as part of the base package!

Hello, I just purchased a pool chiller from your company. Prior to the chiller my pool has been unusable. It's temperature was 95 degrees before installation of the chiller. Now it is a refreshing 83 degrees.
I cannot recommend your company enough. It is very rare that a product lives up to it's reputation, but yours certainly does.
Thank you again.

Pros: Cools water, easy install, quality product, good customer service reps if you have questions
Wonderful. Amazing product. This does for your pool what your ice chest does for beer. Our pool is in direct sun all day and the water temp would be in the mid to high 90's. The pool chiller will keep the pool temp in the mid 80's if you let it run more than 6 hrs a day. We try to keep our pool around 89 so the chiller runs about 4 hrs per day during the hot summer months. Building a new home and pool and buying our third chiller. Excellent product. Easy to maintain. Takes 5 minutes to drain if you winterize. Very easy to install. My husband has installed all of them. Very basic and easy to follow instructions.

Pros: Works as advertised. Low initial cost and operating cost when compared to heat pumps with cooling cycles. Solid construction. Clear installation instructions
After my second summer in south Florida and with an inground pool hovering in the mid 90's from early July I broke down and ordered this unit. I've done the Pvc fountains in the outlets etc. but the cooling just never got it cold enough to carry through the day. I ordered the unit and some valves and actuators that would allow me to tie it in with my existing Aqualink system from a control perspective in order to maintain sanity when the spa and gas heater is used vs just the pool circulation and cooling. I did the install myself and the whole exercise took me around five days which included pouring an additional slab next to the existing one to accommodate the expanded footprint.
The pool temperature on a 14k gallon salt water pool dropped the first night running from 8pm to 6 am from 94.9 down to 86.9. The second night it dropped further to 83.5. I ended up switching the unit off for the last two nights - the kids complained the pool was getting too cold.
Our daytime temperatures have been hovering in the low to mid 90's with humidity around 90%+. overnight temps have been in the upper 70's to low 80's.
I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

A great addition to my pool
With Hot Houston summers and a darker plaster our pool was like a sauna by July. We installed our cooler in 2010 and can't imagine how we got by without it all these years. Even with out high humidity it will drop the temp.

Texas heat !!
I bought the Glacier Ice Berg last year and it seriously was the difference in swimming or not swimming in our dark plaster pool after July. With the heat we have in Texas, it's a must have.

We purchased our Glacier Pool Cooler a few years ago when our water reached 97 degrees. We had recently been to Nevada and I figured they MUST have something to cool their pools in that desert heat so I researched it and found out that many of them are cooled with Glacier Pool Coolers. When I saw that they make a residential one I purchased it immediately. It is the simplest thing to install and operate. It keeps my pool a comfortable 85 degrees when it is 105 degrees with a 90% humidity in Oklahoma. When I close my pool for the winter I just open the valve in the bottom to drain it and put a large plastic Christmas tree bag over it and tie it on the bottom! I can't imagine not having a Glacier Pool Cooler.

The pool cooler exceeded my expectations! I live in North Carolina and have a beautiful dark bottom pool in full sun. When we have 90 degree weather the pool water would hit 90 degrees during July & August and not be usable. I have had the pool cooler for a month now and when we have had back to back 90 degree days the water stays at 78 degrees when I run it 12 hours a day. This is the best purchase I have made in years! Love it!

Pros: Price, low operating costs.
In Wilmington N.C. we have a 17,000 gal. pool with PebbleTech. In mid-June the water was 90 degrees by 4 p.m. Now, with the Glacier Chiller, in late July the water stays between 80 and 82. Installation was about $900 because the chiller was integrated with Pentair remote system. Would recommend the Glacier Chiller to anyone looking for a relatively economical answer to tepid pool water. The Glacier Chiller is great!!!

I came in off the boat a couple of summers ago and jumped in the pool to cool off...it was 97 degrees and so unrefreshing. I knew I had to do something and started looking, knowing it would be an expensive operational solution. Could not believe when I found the Glacier system at Leslie's. It does everything they advertise. Houston will hit it's first 100 degree day today and out pool is a comfortable 87 degrees. If you are tired of bath temperature pool water, this is your solution.

Cool In Kansas!
We stayed at a hotel in Oklahoma in August and their pool was ice cold. That made me wonder if it would be possible to actually cool our pool at home. So I started my research. The Glacier is the only pool cooler that I could find that was affordable, made for residential use and cost effective to run. We ordered the Glacier online, it was delivered UPS and we installed it ourselves. We turn the cooler on over night and the pool is 10 degrees cooler and ready for swimming the next day. Sure beats putting ice in the pool!!!

Glacier Ice Berg Chiller
I had this chiller installed by Leslie's and I couldn't be happier. In less than one day my pool water went from 94 degrees down to 83 degrees. I can now use my pool again!

My wife got 4 of those aerator sprayers for cooling your pool that you hook up to your pool outlet jets for our pool last summer. We ran them for 5 days and 5 nights as the product manufacturer claims you get a 7 degree drop on average. We only got a 4 degree drop in our pool and less during the hot day while these aerators were running. We found out this was too costly on our electric bill to run our pool pump for this long period of time and on our water bill due to excessive water evaporation loss to only get 4 degrees. Waste of time and money! Then we purchased the Glacier Pool Cooler and in one night run time, not day and night, in one night, we dropped our pool water from 94 to 82 degrees! We got a 12 degree drop overnight and we had a cool and refreshing pool all day long without running our pool pump for the day! There is no comparison. The Glacier Pool Cooler is very cost effective and worth every penny!
